DESCRIPTION: The tall spires of Lupines are an early-summer border classic. Plants grow best in a deep, rich soil, slightly on the acidic side. This British hybrid produces tall stems with spikes of bicolor blooms, in a combination of glowing grape purple and soft yellow. Prune back to 6 inches after blooming, to rejuvenate the foliage.
