Carp Garden Centre Guarantee Policy

We guarantee all hardy trees and shrubs for one year from date of purchase.

Nursery stock is guaranteed once for the original purchase price.

The original receipt is required for the guarantee to be honoured; all claims must be made within one year from date of purchase. Please see below for our process.

Not covered by warranty:

  • We do not offer a guarantee on annuals, perennials, tropicals, bulbs, vegetables, seeds or herbs.
  • Marginally hardy plants including, but not limited to Magnolias, Rhododendrons, Azaleas, Roses, Pagoda Dogwoods, Cherry trees, Plum trees, Flowering Cherries, and Japanese Maples are not covered under this guarantee.
  • Nursery stock is guaranteed once for the original purchase price. We do not offer a guarantee on annuals, perennials, tropicals, bulbs, vegetables, seeds, or herbs.
  • Our warranty does not cover rodent damage, physical damage to the plant, aesthetic imperfections, plants overwintered in container, or neglect.
  • Tree planting and delivery fees are not covered under warranty and will not be reimbursed should the plant that was delivered/planted die.
  • Reduced and sale items are final and are not covered by warranty.

Receipt is required for guarantee to be honored; all claims must be made within one year from date of purchase.

PLEASE NOTE: Plants are living things and should be treated with care. Plants should not be neglected in situations of natural stress such as drought, insects, or disease.

What to do if your plant dies:

If there are any questions regarding the viability/condition of your plant material, we ask that you please contact the garden centre before the guarantee has expired.

Once it has been determined that your plant is not viable, we will advise you to return the plant with your receipt to Carp Garden Centre before the guarantee has expired.

We cannot honour the guarantee without the receipt. We will issue a credit note for the total amount paid. The credit note will be valid for one year on all merchandise. We do not provide cash refunds.
