DESCRIPTION: Cornus kousa ‘Summer Gold’ is a small upright tree growing erect when young and becoming broader as it matures. The bright green foliage has golden yellow margins through the growing season, becoming pink in the fall prior to the entire leaf turning bright red. Masses of creamy white flower-like bracts cover the tree during bloom. Disease resistance and consistently upright form makes for a useful garden tree. Asexual reproduction prohibited without license.
