Description: This short woodland plant emerges in spring with deep green, deeply-lobed leaves that gradually acquire dark burgundy-black accents which strikingly highlight the shape of each leaf. Off white flowers rise just above the leaves in late spring, providing a light fragrance. Tiarella thrives in shade, in moist, organic soils that do not dry out. Asexual propagation prohibited.
