DESCRIPTION: The next generation of Wine & Roses weigela has the same dark burgundy foliage but a compact, mounded habit similar to that of spirea or boxwood. Fine Wine weigela is a refined plant with smaller leaves than Wine & Roses but similarly abundant pink spring flowers and excellent texture. It's a great plant for the front of the border, the perennial bed, or used as a low foundation plant.
